Scholarships are available under the National Endowment Scholarships program for talented Pakistani Students (MS/MPhil) at the University of Malakand. NEST (National Endowment Scholarships for Talent) is a ‘Not for Profit’ Company incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. The main objective of the NEST is to provide scholarships to needy cum talented students, who do not have enough resources to continue their studies. These scholarships would provide them an opportunity to continue their studies.

ELIGIBILITY

• Only 1st Year Students enrolled MS/MPhil Program 2018.
• Should have scored at least 65% marks in the last attended examination.
• Parents/Guardians income should be equal to or less than Rs. 50,000/- per month.
• Of non-salaried persons, would submit income certificate obtained from concerned Deputy Commissioner or District Revenue Officer, clearly showing amount of total monthly income from all sources.
• A student in receipt of any other scholarship will not be entitled to this scholarship unless he/she waves off his/her claim for the other scholarship.
• Applicant must be from Least Developed District of Pakistan.
• The age limit should not exceed from 35 years for MS/MPhil (18 years).
• The applicant must be a Pakistani/AJK National.
• The applicant must have completed 16 years Bachelors/or equivalent Degree for application in MS.
• Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year

• Final interview of the shortlisted candidates will be made by the University’s Scholarship Committee.

• Attested Copy of CNIC of (Father/ Mother or Garden.
• Attested Copies of latest DMC.
• Attested Copy of Father’s Death Certificate (in case of orphan).
• Father / Guardian’s Income Certificate From
• The employer i.e. for Govt./Semi Govt./ Private Service The DC/DRO concerned i.e. for Non- Salaried.
