MALAKAND JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES ETHICAL AND PUBLICATION POLICY
Malakand Journal of Mathematical Sciences (MJMS) is open access for its contents and is available free to support better exchange of knowledge. Users are allowed to read and download the articles. The journal is a blind peer reviewed journal and every possible step is taken to ensure anonymity of the authors and reviewers to each other in order to establish transparency and quality review in respect of the submitted articles and papers. Each article is reviewed by at least two reviewers (within the domain of the area of the paper/field of expertise of the reviewer) of the submitted article.
Appointment of Reviewers/Members on advisory board to MJMS:
MJMS has a formal mechanism and process of appointment Reviewers/Members on advisory board to the review panel in the field of expertise. Potential reviewers are asked to provide personal and professional information, accurate and fair representation of their field of expertise.
All the authors must submit copyright form or information that declares to allow the journal to share their published work on the terms and condition that the right to original citation must be given to publisher. Besides, the copyright statement is also required from the authors which is singed by the authors at the time of publication of the paper.
The journal has a very strict policy towards plagiarism. For the originality of the submitted papers or manuscripts, plagiarism software as approved by the HEC (Turnitin) is used to know the originality of the manuscript.
Any Competing Interests
The journal ensures all potential competing, or conflicting, interests to declare and it also raises all the potential and competing interest which makes prevention from the review proves. The journal took care of competing interest i.e. personal, financial, intellectual, professional, political or social cultural and religious aspects.
Timeline for Review
The reviewers are generally asked for being experts on the review and they are communicated the timeline for review of the papers. After agreement or qualified for review the paper is sent for review for review within the proposed or mutually agreed time-frame.
Preparing a report Format
The journal is following the APA instructions for writing and posting the review available and communicated to the authors on webpage and in print form.
Preparing a Report/Language and Style
The journal is published biannually in English language. The authors must provide papers in preferred style, sound and clear; suggestions for changes that improve clarity. The guide lines for paper submission has been given on the webpage. Then the authors must follow the instruction and suggestions proposed by the editors.
The journal adheres to the ethics policies and guidelines of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for publishers, editors and reviewers. The editors and the reviewers of the journal at all times are subject to the COPE policies & guideline while undertaking editing and review in respect of submitted manuscripts to the journal.
The publishers of the journal adhere to and follow the Code of Conduct as enlisted and proposed by COPE.The journal requires its editors and authors to adhere to the international standards for editors and authors as far as a submission to the journal is concerned.
CALL FOR PAPERS (MJMS)
Malakand Journal of Mathematical Sciences (MJMS) is a peer reviewed periodical and will be published regularly in English with a key objective to provide the academic and industrial community a medium for presenting novel ideas, original research results and applications related to all disciplines of Mathematical Sciences. It will also provide a venue for researchers, post graduate, PhD students and professionals to submit on-going research and developments in these areas.
The objective of MJMS is to disseminate new knowledge for the benefit of everyone ranging from the academic and professional research communities to industry practitioners in a wide range of topics in, Mathematical Physics, Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. The first issue of MJMS is scheduled to be published in the month of December 2019. The research presented at the two days conference on “Emerging Trends in Scientific Computing 2019” held at Kohat University of Science and Technology in collaboration with University of Malakand may also be submitted for evaluation.

MJMS invites authors to submit their original and unpublished work that communicates current research in any subfield of Mathematical Sciences in theoretical, methodological and experimental aspects in solving real problems.
All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to Topics, contributions, and English readability. The full paper submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program. The accepted full papers will be published in the first issue of MJMS.
